The best thing was the "Oh my God" moment when you first saw someone that you hadn't seen in 40 years, and some memory flashed through your mind that you didn't even know you forgot.
The best thing was that "Oh-my-God" moment when you turned and were face to face with someone you hadn't seen in 40 years and some memory flashed before your eyes that you didn't even realize you had forgotten.
As James Taylor, the musician, said in one of his songs, "The secret to life is enjoying the passage of time." I think we all have found that secret to life and are having the time of our life!
The rekindling of old friendships, making new friendships, and with the help of our reunion committee, FB, and this Blog, maintaining and cherishing all these friendships.
I'm with Janet . . we're all well past the adolescent survival mode "clique-thing" (thankfully), and the delight in just being in each other's presence again is a truly wonderful gift. I feel so fortunate to have such a remarkable group as classmates. Many people in this country are totally estranged from their HS classmates and uninterested in reconnecting. We, on the other hand, are truly blessed. Love it!
I loved seeing everyone and getting downright confessional with others. My favorite surprise was hearing from two guys that I was their first love....it was also a Brush School reunion!

1. The great turnout, especially all the people who traveled from so far away!
Seeing old and making new friends.
After 40 years, after whatever directions life has taken there's still a bond!

Everyone being happy to see everyone else. All cliques seemed forgotten or irrelevant. Wonderful!!!
Seeing people who were important to me then and still are. And, seeing how great everyone still looks! We were a handsome/beautiful group!
Thanks to Jan for my favorite quote about the reunion, in response to how good we all looked:
Jan Robinson: I think we all looked great. It only took us 40 years to see each other with our hearts.
Well said!
:D
Jan Robinson gets my vote.
